Orchestra in 360!
For the MHS Fall Concert in 2020, local videorapher Micah Hancock recorded the HS Orchestra with a 360 camera. The end product turned out great! Enjoy these 360-degree recordings of “Captain America” and “Black Panther.” Use your mouse to drag on the screen to view different sections as the piece is performed.

Orchestra during the Pandemic
During the winter of the 2020-2021 school year, members of the MHS Orchestra’s Grand Staff made a video describing their experience during the COVID-19 pandemic.

6th Grade Recruiting Video
During the COVID-19 pandemic in the spring of 2020, Mr. Martin, Mr. Getz, and several MJHS Orchestra Students made a video to help incoming 6th graders learn the different instruments and learn about the Morton Orchestra Program.
Electric Quartet
Thanks to grants from the Morton Community Foundation, the Morton Orchestra Program was able to purchase four electric instruments for use in modern pop/rock arrangements. A staple of the program has been to perform a Trans-Siberian Orchestra arrangement every Holiday Concert.
